Land Rover’s mighty 5.0-liter supercharged Range Rover has received a double dose of adrenaline from famed UK tuner Kahn Design and some extra muscle from the engine tuning specialists from Cosworth. This is a sharp, crisp SUV with edgy design and power and performance that puts it in the same league as some supercars.
Let’s start with the performance goods. Cosworth worked on the 5.0-liter supercharger control unit and have it a boost from 500bhp to 555bhp. But the really impressive part is the 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque this brute now makes, which helps it get from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.
Kahn’s magic touch starts with their exclusive body package, which includes rear diffuser in body colour, RS extended large upper roof wing, RS front grille surround insert in body colour, RS Front grille with 3D mesh, RS Quad oval exhaust system, RS vented front and rear wheel arches with integrated front air dams, RS vented rear, brake calipers finished in copper, LED DRLs for front wheel arches, door handles in body colour, privacy tinted glass, door mirrors in body colour and Kahn enamel wing shields.
The whole RS package is carried well in combination with the exclusive Kahn copper metallic finish, contrasting with satin black 22-inch RS wheels with orange pinstriping.
Inside, this Range Rover comes with a diamond quilted centre glove box, centre console in carbon fibre, clock bezel surround finished with Swarovski Diamonds, vented foot pedals in machined aluminum, front and rear seats quilted and perforated in ivory leather with contrasting stitching, floor mats in a black charcoal finish, four quilted door panel tops, Interior facia trim in 3D Carbon Finish, Kahn Illuminated Door entry Sill Plates in Stainless Steel, Kahn orange rev counter, Kahn orange speedo, Kahn time clock and facia insert.
