Range Rover Evoque Gets the Red Chrome Treatment in Russia

Chrome wraps are old, but they're certainly not getting old with people who want an original look that screams "bling". It's especially popular in Russia, where this Range Rover Evoque was asphyxiated in the red stuff by the guys at RE-Styling of Moscow.

The car belongs to a female owner who's new October Red SUV used to be boring and sober shade. The result is a red and silver chrome masterpiece that looks a bit like a Coca Cola can or some Christmas decorations. Rather than blending in, the Evoque blinds people wherever it goes.

Chrome vinyl is much trickier to pull off because it's much less flexible and trickier to cut. However, Re-Styling has plenty of experience with the material, even doing some projects for official dealerships eager to attract customers.

Built in the same factory where Jaguar used to make the X-Type, the Evoque has been a runaway success. It was followed by a brand new full-size Range Rover and a new Sports model launched last year. The Evoque is no longer the Range Rover that everybody talks about, now that its big brothers are all-new. It's interesting to see what some of the owners are doing to get attention and turn heads again.
