Range Rover Evoque Configurator Goes Online

The configurator for the highly-anticipated Range Rover Evoque has gone online. Given the choice of two body styles, three design themes and a wide range of options and accessories, you won't be wanting for much, with the exception of a big V8 engine.

The Range Rover Evoque is available in two body styles, namely a coupe and five-door. The coupe provides two individual rear seats, with the option of three-seat bench if specified.

The Evoque five-door becomes even more attractive by offering greater practicality and family appeal. In order to better accommodate its passengers, the roofline stands 30mm higher than the coupe, which delivers extra head and shoulder room for rear seat passengers.

Instead of the equipment grade hierarchy, which is the industry norm, Land Rover say the Evoque comes with three defining design themes, namely Pure, Prestige and Dynamic.

“Each theme has a distinct appeal in terms of exterior styling, interior appointments and equipment specifications, which offer the highest level of on-board comfort, entertainment, communications and convenience,” the carmaker says.

We went all-out when creating our car, going for the Coupe version in range-topping Dynamic theme. This seems like the only way to get our hands on both a version with over 200 horsepower and one that doesn’t use diesel. The petrol four-pot Si4 Automatic should provide a good mix of power and comfort, so this is the powertrain we went for. To make it stand out in a crowd, we also chose a Fuji White paintjob, 20-inch Chrome Shadow Wheels and Contrast Solid Roof finished in Santoriti Black. Total price: GBP40,720.
