Range Rover Evoque 5-Door Is Poetry in Motion

We’ve seen and analyzed just about every face of the new Range Rover Evoque in the pictures the company showed us so far. But now we get to see it in motion, in a minute-long Launch Film recently released by the British manufacturer.

Land Rover has turned its attention to the online media community in order to better promote the stunning five-door crossover. The video shows the Evoque cruising in total style on city streets.

We can also get a glimpse of its high-end interior that offers a large display integrated into the central console. “And with a tempting array of exterior and interior designs to choose from -- plus a host of advanced technology -- you can personalize Range Rover Evoque to your own individual taste and lifestyle,” the video’s description states.

The Evoque, which made its debut at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show in November, has a stylish and sporting appearance. It is a completely new approach to designing a compact luxury SUV.

While retaining the shape of the Evoque coupe, the 5-door will offer customers even more choice, greater practicality, versatility and flexibility. It features lightweight construction techniques and offers the choice of a front-wheel drive variant. A new range of petrol and diesel engines comes with direct injection and stop-start.

As we can see in the video, the interior is lavished with premium quality materials and an elegance befitting of a Range Rover interior. Customers can specify premium leather and twin-needle stitching, providing a luxurious finish to almost every surface of the instrument panel, doors and seats.
