Randstad Extend Sponsorship Deal with Williams F1

Frank Williams received another good news on Thursday, when his team extended their deal with Randstad Holding nv for an additional period of time. The company – second player in the world on the human resources services market – has been the sponsor of the AT&T Williams for the past 3 years and decided to further extend their deal with the F1 outfit for a period of time yet to be disclosed.

“I am delighted that in the past three seasons we have worked successfully with Randstad and as a consequence they have increased their level of engagement with the team for the second time. I hope this reflects the real value the sponsorship can bring to their newly merged business,” said Williams after hearing the news.

The new deal makes Randstad a senior partner with Williams F1 racing team, which will lead to side-branding on the FW31 car, as well as the drivers' helmets or equipment.

“We are very happy that we are able to enhance the efficiency of our marketing budgets by concentrating more on the platforms that have shown real value in relationship management and brand building, as our programme with the AT&T Williams team has demonstrated,” said Frans Cornelis, Randstad’s Managing Director, Group Marketing & Communications.

“This sponsorship offers opportunities in even more territories, like Australia, Singapore and Latin America, where we now have sizeable business interests following the merger with Vedior. Finally we applaud the efforts for the forthcoming season to stimulate the development of energy-recovery technology, as we think that this is of great importance for the future,” added Cornelis.
