With the “Man of Steel” motion picture set to arrive in theaters starting June 14, Chrysler’s Ram Trucks brand released its latest commercial featuring the Superman revival film.
What’s Ram got to do with Superman you may ask? Well, Clark Kent, the movie’s main character, gets to drive one of the company’s trucks while he struggles to find his own place far away from Krypton. Makes a little more sense?
If you ask us, Superman would be better off while driving a Ford F-150, the superman of all US trucks according to its legendary status and sales, but the new Ram lineup is not bad at all. In fact, the 2013 Ram 1500 already has a few awards to its name, while May sales have gone up a cool 24 percent, adding to Chrysler’s overall growth of 11 percent.
“Everyone has the ability to do something amazing. Some just do it on a more regular basis,” is the brand’s message that comes along with the commercial. Guess we all know what that means in terms of marketing. Check out the video below, but don’t expect to see Superman driving a Ram Truck. You’ll probably need to watch the movie for that...
