Ram Truck, the Official Partner of the Kentucky Derby

The 136th edition of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs has been horsepowered by Ram Truck vehicles, after the newly-formed brand became the official partner of the event. Aside fo the invasion of Ram-badged trucks at the event, the logo of the brand has been displayed on the jockeys’ pant legs.

“The Ram Truck Brand is honored to be a part of the 136th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs as well as the history and tradition associated with this annual event,” Fred Diaz, Ram Brand CEO said in a statement.

“Ram Trucks not only carry people, they tow and deliver precious cargo such as these beautiful, million dollar athletes that grace the race track.”

Several Ram trucks, wrapped in customized graphics which take their elements from the jockey silks have been put on display across Churchill Downs, while a Ram Truck Jobsite Tour trailer was positioned close to the track.

One of the US' oldest Thoroughbred horse races, the Kentucky Derby hosts the three-year-old Thoroughbred horses race known in the US as the "Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" or the "Run for the Roses." The event takes place took place the last weekend and was won by Super Saver and jockey Calvin Borel.
