Ram Truck has took the wraps off the their new Rumble Bee concept at the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise. Based on the 2013 Ram 1500 with single cab and two-wheel drive, the new vehicle celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the Rumble Bee pickup truck.
Painted in a matte Drone Yellow, the 2013 Rumble Bee sports a Mopar ground effects kit and black 24-inch five-spoke wheels. Inside, the truck comes with the same black/yellow theme, leather upholstery, Rumble Bee logos and an amber-encased bee withing the rotary shift knob. Whether that's cool or weird, we'll let you decide.
Buzzing under the Rumble Bee's bonnet there a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine that delivers 395 HP and 407 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
"The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee continues to have a strong fan base and what better place to celebrate its 10-year anniversary than Woodward Dream Cruise," said Reid Bigland, president and CEO of Ram Truck brand. "There's a lot of energy surrounding concept trucks and buzz models, and the Ram Design Team revels in creating something that is unique for our customers to enjoy."
