Ram Campaign Exclusively for Texas

The newest brand in the Chrysler lineup, the Ram, has quickly become a Texas favorite. In October this year, the most luxurious Ram truck ever built, the 2011 Ram Laramie Longhorn, has been named Truck of Texas.

To show its appreciation for the award, the American brand decided to launch an all-new regional marketing and advertising campaign meant to give the brand an extra boost. The campaign will focus on the “demanding bunch“ of Texas truck buyers and auto journalists.

The campaign will run in print, radio, digital and billboard channels, will kick off on Thanksgiving Day and will span throughout 2011. It has been created by Dallas-based advertising agency The Richards Group.

"The truck market in Texas is as competitive as it gets," said Fred Diaz, Ram Truck CEO. "These awards help differentiate the Ram Truck brand from the competition and helps to place us at the forefront of Texans' truck-buying, decision-making process."

“We are honored by our recent wins at the Texas Truck Rodeo. This all-encompassing win will give true Texas truckers further reason to get behind the wheel of one of our Ram trucks to see for themselves."

The truck crowned this year as the best choice in Texas will be offered in all the embodiments of the truck, namely Ram 1500, 2500 or 3500 Heavy Duty. All Laramie Longhorn models will be fitted with full leather interior, engraved details and burled walnut woodgrain surfaces, in either dark slate gray and russet or bark brown and light pebble beige interior colors.
