Ram Advertising Campaign Kicks Off in Force

After the new brand was established by Chrysler's CEO Sergio Marchionne at the beginning of October, it's now time for the newcomer to make its mark on the public and become visible. Chrysler announced today the debut of the marketing and advertising campaign for the brand, with the Ram brand to appear in TV, print, online and social media environments, as well as events and partnerships.

“The Ram Truck Brand customer has been clearly identified and this campaign marks the beginning of how we will begin to build a deeper relationship with that consumer,” Fred Diaz, Chrysler Ram Brand CEO said.

“We know truck customers; we understand their passion and what drives and motivates them. We plan to connect with them on an emotional and rational level.”

The television campaign will center on 5 video clips, taking the Ram trucks in all sorts of environments to showcase their recreational and vocational purposes. Seven different ads have been picked to be featured on printed support and a new website has been established.

As a useful note, Ram has opened its Ram Outfitter website, where future owners of Ram trucks can match their body with the car; from here, they can buy cow-hide work gloves, heavy-duty G-Shock watches, 18-can coolers, men’s clothing, t-shirts and polo shirts for women... Basically, anything a car manufacturer usually doesn't offer.

Ram also got involved in the Ram Heavy Duty and the Master Sportsman’s Tours, with more events and partnerships to come throughout the year.
