Last month, we were telling you that Toyota’s new GT 86 CS-R3 rally car will make its debut at the ADAC Rallye Deutschland and it will be on sale for next year. Well, now it also has a price if you’re interested in starting a rally team.
Toyota announced that for orders placed before February 2015, the CS-R3 comes at a lower €79,000 plus VAT. After that, the car will cost you €84,000 plus VAT.

If you want to feel the taste of rallying, the Toyota CS-R3 comes with all you need for such events, which means it will have a stripped interior, roll cage, racing seat and harness with FIA homologation as well as a slightly tricked out suspension.

To comply with the R3 regulations, the flat-four engine got a new software, cams and a different compression ratio, all summing up for 240-250 bhp. Unlike the road car, here you’ll have a true sequential six-speed gearbox to send the power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential.

Now that you know how much you need to spend on it, we’ll also tell you where to race it. The CS-R3 will get its dedicated competition next year called the HJS TMG CS-R3 Trophy that will be part of the German Rally Championship.
