Raikkonen's NASCAR Race Truck Livery Unveiled

As we wait to see how former Formula One world champion will perform in his truck series debut, Perky Jerky unveiled today the paint scheme set to adorn the Kimi Raikkonen truck for his NASCAR debut in the Camping World Truck Series race this weekend.

Nicknamed Iceman, Raikkonen has founded ICE1RACING, which also fields his World Rally Championship and motocross teams. Together with Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM), he will drive the No. 15 Toyota Tundra in the forthcoming event.

The Flying Finn has already successfully completed his first tests, having done in excess of 400 laps with his Toyota Tundra racer.

“Perky Jerky might only be two years old, but we have one of the best race car drivers in the world to represent our brand in America’s greatest race series,”
said Brian Levin, Perky Jerky founder and chairman. “We look forward to seeing Kimi take the checkered flag on Friday for Perky Jerky and we’ll be cheering him along as will our Perky Jerky fans across the country and around the world.”

Kimi Raikkonen will race the Perky Jerky Tundra truck in his year's N.C. Education lottery 200, a Truck Series event scheduled at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 20.

From then onwards, Raikkonen's program in the Truck Series will be set in coordination with his existing commitment in the World Rally Championship. The 2007 Formula 1 champion has already committed to a 10-round schedule in the 2011 WRC under the same ICE1 Racing entrant, at the wheel of a Citroen DS3 WRC, having competed in two of them – Sweden and Portugal – by now.
