Rahal Slams "Clueless" Milka Duno for Indy Crash

Graham Rahal's chances of clinching his first historical win in the Indy 500 hit the wall (literally) after less than quarter of a distance in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway race, when the Newman/Haas/Lanigan racer lost control of his car and slid right into the Turn 4 wall in an attempt to lap Milka Duno's Dreyer & Reinbold car.

Rahal was furious with the Venezuelan driver after the race, as he described her racing style as “clueless” during the entire race. The NHL Racing driver insisted that Duno drove both slow and fast at the same time, while also leaving him with little room to overtake in Turn 4.

“She was absolutely clueless. She would go low like she was going to let everybody by, but then she'd go fast enough where you couldn't get by her. She came out on track and run you real tight. I tried to go half a car width up in (Turn) 4, and it just went straight,” argued a disappointed Rahal after the race.

At the time of the incident, Rahal was in a great position within the leading pack, as he himself admitted he had a good pace during the first quarter of the race. Although it wasn't a winning pace, the NHL Racing driver insisted a podium place was still in hand for him.

Although not having many races under her belt in the IndyCar, Duno is not at her first on-track incident in the series. During the 2008 Honda Indy 200 practice session, Duno was confronted by IndyCar's other female driver Danica Patrick for having a hard time letting faster drivers get by on track. Needless to say, Duno did not admit to her mistake, while also throwing a towel at Patrick in the process.
