Radical Ducati Unveils Custom RAD02 Corsa EVO Bike

The Spaniards at Radical Ducati never fail to impress when it comes to heavily modified Ducati-based motorcycles. They first caught our attention with the RAD02 Pursang, an interesting combination between a supermoto, a streetfighter and a cafe racer, and then wowed us with the Monster-based custom Raceric cafe racer.

This time, however, they are looking to appeal to fans of the sportbike segment. Their latest project is dubbed RAD02 Corsa, with the ‘02’ moniker meaning that it is suitable as a race or trackday bike.

Enthusiasts can choose to buy the bike complete or as a kit, and they can also get homologated parts such as taillights that allow the machine to be ridden on the road.

The RAD02 Corsa comes with a custom 4.2 kg aluminum frame, subframe and swingarm, accompanied by matching structural parts and the bodywork. The power unit propelling this track bike is a Corsa Evo 1100 unit. Updates from the original Corsa include a one-piece seat and tail unit to save weight, a lighter rear subframe and a redesigned front fairing.

The solo seat has been design by Spanish designer Carlos Beltran, while the fairing is the work of Dragon TT. Basically, the only thing in common with the previous Corsa is the fuel tank which Radical Ducati says was too perfect to change.

Together, all these components form the RAD02 Corsa bike that you can see in the adjacent images. Unfortunately, Radical Ducati hasn’t provided a full spec sheet of this machine yet, but at least the image gallery eases the pain.
