Working as a professional race driver will eventually make you hate speed on public roads. It’s unsafe, there are a lot of morons in you way and you’ll also get fined if the cops will catch you. That’s why some of them prefer to drive an ordinary car from time to time and take a break from the fast paced world of motorsport.
Toyota race driver Anthony Davidson recently bought himself a brand new Auris Touring Sports Hybrid. Definitely a very underpowered car compared to the new TS040 LMP1 car Anthony will drive, but it still has something in common with it - the hybrid drivetrain. We guess Anthony will surely know how to use it at its best.

The Pearl White one he chose is the top-of-the range Excel trim with panoramic roof, 17-inch alloy wheels, smart entry system, Intelligent Park Assist, automatic headlamps and wipers, rear privacy glass, dual zone climate control, cruise control and more. A perfect car for his wife, two children and a dog.

Davidson and Toyota Racing will embark on their new season at Silverstone on 20 April, aiming to sustain the performance that saw the team take victory in the closing round of the 2013 championship in Bahrain.
