Qoros Working on Four-Door Coupe Model

Ever since Mercedes-Benz brought out the CLS four-door coupe, the automotive world has gone crazy for the idea, and now, virtually all sedans have been styled to look a little bit like it. Fledgeling automaker Qoros, who has recently unveiled their first ever car, the GQ3 sedan, is now reportedly working on a four-door coupe Volkswagen CC-rival.

It will not be the company’s flagship model, but it will sit above the aforementioned GQ3. Details are sparse, but if their sedan is anything to go by, we can expect the design to be clean, well-poroportioned and very Germanic in its appearance.

Aside from these low-res photos courtesy of auto.sohu.com, we don`t really have any real details on how it will look. It will most likely share the same 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine which powers the GQ3 (may be higher-powered, though), and it will be probably based on the same chassis architecture, to save some costs.

The sector they are trying to enter with this new four-door coupe is now becoming increasingly crowded, and the lines between regular sedans and these chop-top four-door coupes are really beginning to blur, so the car will have to be something special to really make a mark, and not just be one more name in the crowd.
