Chinese-Israelian automotive joint venture Qoros will reveal the 2 PHEV Concept during Auto Shanghai, a study that could see the company's first B-segment SUV coming to life.
There are plenty of rivals out there for a newbie small SUV, but Qoros doesn't care about the competition. I mean, they do, but are not afraid of it.

So they took a Chery-sourced small car platform and started building their own idea of a crossover, one that so far looks pretty original to us. But is such a car ready to compete with the controversial Nissan Juke, its French brother Renault Captur or Mini Countryman?

Well, if we consider the public's appetite for small crossovers, it could have a chance, as it will be placed beneath Qoros' 3 City SUV in the carmaker's range.

In addition, there could be an eco-friedly touch to it, as Qoros plans to equip their 2 Concept SUV with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The SUV will also feature an all-wheel drive system, while the battery cells will feature an inductive charging function.

Moreover, the prototype could also get a 1.8-liter turbo engine, but there's a modern approach to the small SUV as well both on the outside and on the inside. The concept's bold design was born in Munich and Shanghai studios while the interior while in the cabin passengers will be able to use the QorosCloud function on a central touchscreen.

It's too early to talk about production and market entry, but we'll know more as we get acquainted with the concept live, at the upcoming Auto Shanghai.
