Purple LaFerrari One-Off Spotted Driving around Maranello Factory before Delivery

Nevertheless, we may now have a competitor aiming for that title and we’re talking about the Purple LaF in the video below. As you can expect, the owner went by the classic Rosso Corsa for a shade of Purple that’s rather deep.

We get to enjoy the car before the owner, as the 950 hp petrol-electric Prancing Horse was spotted in the proximity of the Maranello factory. The hypercar was going through its final testing phase ahead of the delivery.

Sure, vast parts of the LaFerrari are still covered in various camouflage and protection elements, but we get to see enough of the hue to quench our Ferrari personalisation thirst.

Like most of its kind, this machine actually features a two-tone color scheme, as it comes with a Black roof and uses the same color for the wheels. Speaking of which, you should know not all LaFerraris feature a Black roof.

For instance, the Red one we’ve recently discussed has skipped this part of the painting process. Then again, that car is still surrounded by mystery, as it is believed to belong to Lewis Hamilton.

While we knew the F1 driver had ordered one for quite a while, we have yet to see him behind that Manettino-gifted steering wheel. Still, it’s good to know Mercedes F1 has nothing against their driver’s street vehicle choice.

PS: returning to the Purple LaFerrari, the Orange power cables visible through the grille at the back are as sexy as they’ve ever been, with this being a feature that doesn't depend on the machine's color.
