PSG's Jeremy Menez Drives Black Mercedes CLS 63 AMG

Car spotter rodo77 sent these photos to AutoGespot. He says it's football player Jeremy Menez’s black beauty. Supposedly, the CLS 63 AMG you see here sports a dark black finish and some anthracite wheels.

But there are other custom mods. The bumpers are stock, but the chrome work has been blacked out, and those side wings look a bit like the custom ones that Mansory makes. The whole kit has not been applied to the car, though.

In July of last year, Menez was signed in for a three year period with French club Paris Saint-German. The 24-year old Frenchman is doing quite fine, considering his transfer from Roma was reportedly worth €8 million. This also means he can clearly afford such a car.

There you were, thinking only rappers spend hundreds of thousands on new whips and aftermarket customization when this happens. But who are we fooling here, we all know that sports celebrities act just like any other famous person: they need to show off. Since everybody’s looking, you may as well offer them something to see, right?

But exactly how famous are we talking here? Well, put it this way, Menez became the youngest professional football player in the history of Ligue 1 after signing a contract and made his debut in the 2004-05 season.

As to the car, well we all know that both the CLS 55 AMG and the CLS 63 AMG are modified versions of the CLS produced by Mercedes’ top-notch branch. We’re talking exclusive features such as perforated sport seats, 19-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels, large air inlets and quad chromed oval exhaust pipes.

Now, there are some unanswered question left. For instance, is this the footballer's only ride? Will he customize it further? Is it, perhaps, a loan received from a sports sponsor or maybe a gift from somebody close?
