The PSA Peugeot Citroën announced today it has appointed Vincent Rambaud as CEO of Peugeot with effect from April 2. At the same time, the group also announced it has reorganized Peugeot’s sales into four divisions. Rambaud, who was previously Director of PSA Peugeot Citroën’s Latin American zone, will report to Jean-Marc Gales, PSA Marques Director.
The 51-year-old joined the PSA Peugeot Citroën group in 2002, where he held management positions at Panhard & Levassor then Gefco. In 2007, he took charge of the Mercosur Business Unit and became a member of PSA Peugeot Citroën's expanded General Management Committee, before being appointed Latin
American Director in 2009.
"Vincent Rambaud's international experience will be a strong factor in successfully meeting the challenge of Peugeot's globalisation, at a time when the Marque, on the strength of a new identity and a totally revamped, expanded range, is rediscovering a growth dynamic," Jean-Marc Gales said in a release.
Peugeot's sales organization announced it plans to achieve the following by 2015: move up 3 places in the world automobile brands rankings; make Peugeot a style benchmark; become mobility services leader.

- Northern Europe, under the leadership of Olivier Dardart
- Southern Europe, under the leadership of Rafael Prieto
