Proton Opens New Dealership in Lincoln

Malaysian manufacturer Proton announced today the opening of a new dealership in the UK, in Lincoln. The dealership, named Shakespeare Street Garage, will be selling new and used motors, including the 5-door Savvy, the 3-door Satria Neo and Satria Neo Sport, the 5-door GEN-2 hatchback and the 4-door GEN-2 saloon, as well as the LPG dual fuel GEN-2 ecoLogic range.

“We are delighted to have become Proton’s main dealer for Lincoln. Thanks to their Lotus inspired design, Proton’s cars are very stylish, fun to drive and have fantastic handling – it’s also a brand that offers motorists great value for money, coupled with the reassurance of delivering reliability – especially with the three year warranty available,”
said Tony Richardson, Shakespeare Street Garage director.

“Above all they have an exceptional build quality with high levels of standard equipment."

The new dealership is the second in under a week opened by Proton, after the Garage at Blakesley was inaugurated earlier in the week. As is the case in Blakesley, the Lincoln dealership will be selling Proton vehicles from prices starting at GBP7,995 OTR.

This new dealership too is fully equipped to provide MOT tests, servicing and repairs for all types of vehicles. The dealership will also continue to sell Perodua and MicroCar vehicles.

“We are pleased to welcome the Shakespeare Street Garage to our expanding network and offer customers more choice in the area. With a growing demand for more cost-effective motors, Proton makes for a sensible choice of car,”
added Proton general manager Simon Park.
