Proton is launching a budged car offensive onto the Australian market, as the Exora MPV will be joined by the Exora MPV next year.
This affordable seven-seater will be offered with a 1.6-liter turbo engine rated at 103 kW (138 hp, 140 PS) and 200 Nm of torque and mated to a CVT gearbox.
The standard GX trim level will come with keyless entry, electric mirrors, rear parking sensors, alloy wheels and Bluetooth connectivity. The higher grade GXR will also give you a reversing camera and a DVD player.
Standard safety features will include six airbags, ESC, ABS and traction control for the front wheels.
If you don’t care about the badge and need a car that will get you and six other people from A to B cheaply, you might want to hold onto your money. The Proton Exora was just unveiled at the Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) and will become available in 2013.
