Prosecutors Decline to Charge Caitlyn Jenner in Fatal Car Accident

Prosecutors have decided Wednesday there is not enough evidence to support the case in which Caitlyn Jenner - formerly known as Bruce Jenner - is accused of wrongful death felony.

As we previously mentioned, the initial investigation determined that the 65-year-old former Olympian was traveling at an unsafe speed for the road conditions at the time. The sheriff’s investigators said there was enough evidence to support a vehicular manslaughter charge. But all this seems to fade, according to the district attorney’s major crimes division.

According to AP, a prosecutor wrote in a one-page sheet declining to file charges that the Kardashian celebrity was traveling slightly below the posted speed limit and began braking less than two seconds before the crash. The reason they did not file any charges is that, apparently, they haven’t found enough proof to back Jenner’s alleged violation of any basic speed law.

In other K news, Caitlyn Jenner may be busy with his/her much-lauded transgender transition that became a major television hit in the past months, but we know there’s more than reality television to the former Olympian. As a matter of fact, Bruce Jenner was quite passionate about racing too.

Back in the 1980s, he was a successful race car driver in the IMSA Camel GT Series. Jenner’s first victory came in 1986 12 hours of Sebring in the IMSA GTO class driving the 7-Eleven Roush Racing Ford Mustang with co-driver Scott Pruett. Sure, the former athlete never managed to raise up to the fame of an American hero, as he did through his athlete career, but he was quite decent on the track too.

We’re not saying public roads are anything like the race track, but we’re more than certain being a pro driver helps with the way you handle any vehicle.

As a matter of fact, even after the tragic accident happened, and the gender transition was over, Caitlyn Jenner still couldn’t stay away from his/her early driving enthusiasm. It was just the other day Jenner took Kylie for a spin with the youngest of the Kardashian family’s new Ferrari 458 Spider.
