Seeing the clear benefits of comparing the low-priced, low-consumption, American-made alternative fuels with the harmful, damaging and over expensive foreign oil, companies that produce and distribute alternative fuels are hard at work establishing the infrastructure that would hopefully lead to an oil-independent America.
The first steps in regions like Las Vegas and Salt Lake City are now being taken by Warren Energy Group and Alliance AutoGas, who together announced the opening of a propane autogas supply line for the fleet operators in the region.
The benefits of using propane autogas are, according to Warren (who supplies fleets in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona, and at the same time the largest autogas-powered taxi fleet in the US, who operates in Las Vegas), clear and not to be missed. This type of fuel is produced mostly in the US (90 percent of it comes from local sources), it is cheaper than oil and it cuts down harmful emissions.
