If you’re planing to make a list of the Porsche tuners on this planet, you’d better be a fast writer, or you’ll spend quite a while to complete it. However, there are certain Porsche aftermarket specialists that claim to be more special than others.

Let’s take Promotive for example. The U.S.-based company likes to recommend itself as “The World’s Fastest Porsche Tuner”, so we decided to see what the company could do for one of the aftermarket world’s favorite toys, the 997 generation 911 turbo.

The company offers an (you guessed it) extreme package for the supercar. We’ll start with the engine goddies, as this is the part that really floats our boat.

The vehivle’s twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter six-cylinder Boxer engine, which develops 500 hp when it leaves the Porsche factory, has been gifted with multiple performance parts and is now able to deliver no less than 900 hp.

To achieve this, the tuning company has installed modified GT turbochargers, K&N air filters, a custom exhaust, a set of 80lb fuel injectors, custom headers, as well as an ECU remap.

To cope with the enormous amount of power, the rear-engined coupe has been fitted with a new suspension system supplied by Ruf. The same tuner has offered a set of wheel spacers and custom rims that come with a two-tone finish and use a multi-spoke design.

The vehicle’s exterior has kept is factory stock form, only receiving a Ruf wing. As for the interior, this has been gifted with red stitching for certain elements.
