The current C 63 AMG is on its last leg, the two-door coupe, but before Mercedes replaces it with a 4-liter twin-turbo, let's take a good look at this tuning project, which perfectly explains why the 6.2-liter V8 is such a cool engine.
German tuning specialists Mcchip-DKR never do things by the half measure. Upon receiving this performance sedan from one of their customers, they immediately set about turning it levels of performance usually only seen on Brabus models.

Using a 3.25-liter supercharger, software updates and some other components to compensate for the added power, the V8 was pushed from 457 hp to an amazing 830 hp. The only car Daimler offers that even comes close to that is the S 65 AMG, but that comes with a twin-turbo 6-liter V12.

Mcchip also fitted a Drexler differential lock to keep the C63 from getting out of shape and for added traction installed KW Clubsport suspension and some lightweight 11x19-inch alloys wrapped in performance rubber.

Performance like that needs to turn heads, so project mc8xx features a widebody package, plenty of carbon fiber accessories and a coat of Ibis White semi-gloss paint from the Audi catalog.

What a way to go C63 AMG, what a way to go! And get this, mc8xx will be followed up by another one called mc9xx. One can only wonder what sort of crazy machine that will be.
