Project Kahn Unveils Audi TR8

While it’s still a good-looking coupe, the Audi TT looks like a better version of the A3. Meanwhile, the R8 supercar is akin to an automotive god. However, with the TT-RS’s performance being so close to that of its V8-powered big brother, it becomes easy to understand why tuners are giving the hairdresser’s car a performance makeover.

Judging from the project name of Project Kahn’s latest creation, you would think this is just another kit for the R8. But take a closer look and you should be able to make out a 2+2 coupe configuration. The TR8 project seems to be the kind of project that could provide any TT owner a chance to look like a millionaire without actually spending the cash needed to back it up.

The famous tuner started out with the regular 2.0 FSI Audi TT and then spiced things up with liberal use of a new front and
back vented bumper, with mesh inserts and a new front grille fashioned to look like the ones found on the R8. But what really makes this kit cool is the R8-style side blades that we guess, at a quick glance, can make a small number of people think they just saw an R8 go by.

Other additions to the exterior are a new rear spoiler, a stainless steel quad exhaust system, sports lowered suspension springs, and a front lower bumper lip and door mirrors in a billet steel finish to match the dark gray exterior paint of the Audi. As for the bling effect, that was achieved by adding 20" RSV alloy wheels.

The interior features a complete bespoke design that suits all individual tastes, but we are disappointed by the lack of proper added pulling power for the little TT.
