The Akira sports a sharp and fearless design. But she doesn’t have an owner yet. Have a read and find out if you’ve got the inspiration and the cash to get to her.
Upon first sight, Akira may resemble another yacht you may have seen around here, the Aquamarine. But that resemblance is quickly lifted upon a closer look. Only the aluminum hull with its three layers of glasswork on separate decks may offer you the same feel.

The Akira comes in at 186 feet (56.70 meters) in length, offering more than enough space for 12 guests and a crew of 13. This space is all dispersed vertically upon four decks. With a 7 ½ foot (2.30 meters) draft, she’s perfect for small ports with shallow waters.

The top deck or sun deck offers a large outdoor area and jacuzzi. Here, you’ll find large lounge beds, allowing for socialization among your guests as they sun-bathe. You will also find a bar and dining table atop this vessel.

Underneath, you’ll find the navigations deck. At the bow of the ship is a space that deposits two tenders. Now, how do you get them on or off the boat? Believe it or not, a mechanical crane is there to load the tenders on or off the vessel. It’s also a wonderful occasion to show the little ones how a crane works.

Behind the control room, is space equipped with bedrooms for your preferred guests. Leading toward the rear this deck is an indoor lounge area with bar. All of this space is covered in a panoramic black glass that offers privacy, yet a clear view of the outside world. Further back, an outside space offers under-the-sky dining.

The main deck of the Akira is once again almost entirely covered in glass. Always a benefit if you’re throwing a little private party and don’t want to give the neighbors something to talk about. This type of use for glass also allows you to climatize nearly an entire deck of the ship. The master suite is situated on this deck along with a bathroom equaling the comforts of home. This deck offers more dining area and lounge that can easily be transformed into an entertainment room. Another exterior space allows for enjoyment of refreshments under the sun.

The lower deck has all furnishings needed for crew and guests. The space closest to the bow is reserved for crew with a separate entrance into quarters, and guests at the center of the deck, with access directly to the main deck.

Just so you guys know, the Akira doesn’t have a completed interior design. This has upsides and downsides. I’ll give you the bad news first. Since the Akira has no interior design developed, it means she’s not yet ready to embark upon the building journey. But the benefit of this that once she does have an owner, the interior is at his or her command, within functionality to say the least.

Powering this clean-cut falcon of the seas are two MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines made by Rolls Royce. A range of 4,400 miles and a top speed of 22 knots will offer the comfort and speed needed to get you to your destinations.

With such a solid and stylish exterior balanced by the use of glass, you are sure to enjoy the scenery, from both inside and out.
