Motorcycle suspension component manufacturer Progressive Suspension announces the appearance of a special monoshock dedicated for one of the best-loved mid-class touring machines, the BMW F 800 GS.
The bike itself is quite new and has also received some enhancements and fine tuning for the 2013 markets but new custom shocks are a nice additional feature anytime. No matter how new and how fresh some bikes might be, there will always be some aftermarket components which can do a better job, provided the beasts aren't already endowed with aftermarket gear (like WP shocks for KTM).
Progressive Suspension have re-engineered one of their 456 Series monoshocks and provided it with a valve and new spring, thus managing to create a dedicated rear shock perfectly fit for the BMW F 800 GS.
The knob-actuated Remote Adjustable Preload system makes preparing the F800 GS for different loads a child's play and now takes only seconds. The new Progressive Suspension 456 has also received a 5-position rebound adjuster and deflective disc damping, and comes with included remote mounting bracket.
