Toyota CEO Jim Lentz held a speech at the Society of Automotive Analysts, telling people about the future of the auto industry as well as Toyota and Lexus’ plans recently.
Jim’s speech got accompanied by video presentations, graphics, vehicle models and a sneak peek at the upcoming Lexus LF-NX that surprisingly came on screen right after the RC coupe.
Although in a low resolution and with many shadowed details, the model appears to match Lexus Europe director Paul Van der Burgh’s description, saying that “a lot of the concept's inherent design will come out in the finished car.”
The front end is way more toned down than the concept model, ditching the slim LED headlights and those massive side vents, but the side of the vehicle appears to follow every fold and line we saw on the LF-NX. The rear end can not be seen from that angle, so we'll just have to wait a bit more to see the whole car. The closest event where the production version LF-NX could be showcased might be the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Check it out in the video bellow. The LF-NX comes at about the 10:30 mark
