Some of you might not realize this yet, but Zig and Zag, the two race car with exclusive looks, one of which has also been configured into a concours configuration, were actually pre production vehicles built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the collaboration between the design firm and Aston Martin, which dates back to the DB4GT Zagato.
Today, the British automaker has announced the production V12 Zagato will be shown at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance on 15-18 February.
But since demand was so great for this exclusive conversion of the Vantage, Aston has decided to put it into limited production. The image you see above is actually rendered to show how a production version will look like. We can tell you that the V12 Zagato will enter production by the middle of this year.
For only £330,000 (about $530,000), Aston Martin will let you have one of these, and they are only going to build 150 examples. Yes, it’s expensive but it’s costs a third of what the One-77 goes for these days, and it looks really cool.
