Being a professional golfer doesn’t mean you can’t act like a rockstar and buy yourself a truly unique ride. This is the case of Gerry Lester “Bubba” Watson, an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour and his badass custom made Oakley Ford Raptor designed by Mike Smith Fabrication.
It appears that Bubba was smitten by Oakley’s Sports Marketing trucks, when the company showed interest in adding the golf player to his global list of sponsored athletes. Thus, he came across a particular truck and, along with the guys from Oakley Headquarters, the 2013 Ford Raptor Super Crew Cab undergone some major customization, something to represent both the golfer and the Oakley company.

As a result, we’re talking about a truck custom wrapped in a black digital camouflage print with a front that comes with a reworked 6160 billet aluminum Oakley grill and a custom Oakley logo. This isn’t all as by far the most awesome feature on the truck is the fact that it is bulletproof. Yes, the whole exterior, windows included is bulletproof. Talk about keeping it safe.

Concerning the interior, the truck has been redesigned, bright lime green features being added. Because this is Bubba’s favorite color, the custom Ford also incorporates green dashboard features and green leather stitching on the seats.

Quite an unique vehicle, one that needed around 6 months to complete, including 1000’s of hours in labor, the actual build being done by Mike Smith Fabrication out of Huntington Beach in California. What can we say, we’re pretty impressed with Bubba’s new Ford and we can help but wonder what it would be like to drive this beast-of-a-car.
