You guys are stuck with an M235i or a 228i. Even worse, you've bought the 220d, even though you actually wanted the M2. There's no shame in that. The good news is that there is a widebody kit from Prior Design that's worthy of your browsing time and possibly even your money.
It's called the PD2XX, named after the company that made it, Prior Design. We quite like what they've put together in recent months, especially their RS6 Avant and Mercedes-AMG GT.

Unless money is a problem, we see no reason not to install the PD2XX on your car. After all, you didn't get a BMW 2 Series because you wanted a subtle family car; you bought it because it's slightly different to every other coupe on the market.

The first piece of good news is that this isn't one of those embarrassing Rocket Bunny kits that bolt onto the car. There's a place for those in the tuning world, but the 2 Series is a posh car, and it gets new fenders that appear sleek and elegant.

Changes have been made to the bumpers as well. From the front, the deep air intakes have been emphasized by placing a chin air splitter which defines the car like a plinth defines a statue.

We're not huge fans of the air scoops added to the rear wings, but this kind of kit isn't supposed to be to everyone's tastes. Meanwhile, it looks like the trademark M Performance design of the rear bumper has been kept plus a few add-ons, of course.

The 2 Series would look a little bit dull in ints metallic dark gray color were it not for the bold choice of chrome green 3-piece wheels from Prior. Finally, we arrive at the price aspect. The complete PD2XX package will set you back up to €6,120.

But you can order the parts individually. For example, the front and rear fenders together will cost €1,980. The front spoiler is €490, and the diffuser at the rear might add €790 to your parts bill. I wonder how they fit on the convertible...?
