2013 was a great year for the Ram 1500, with the fullsize pickup truck receiving several coveted awards, including Motor Trend's 2014 Truck of the Year. It also became the very first vehicle to offer a Diesel engine in the segment, pressing its American and Japanese rivals to follow suit for the 2015 model year.
Chrysler can brag about a lot of things when it comes to the Ram 1500, including the fact that it offers best-in-class payload capacity. It did so with a couple of commercials and a leading role in this year's "Man of Steel" movie.
Now, Chrysler switched to a classy print ad that's both simple and more than persuasive. It features a... rock that's... erm... hitchhiking in the middle of nowhere. A Chrysler Town & Country ain't gonna help, obviously, but we would go that far to believe that the Ford F-150 or the Chevrolet Silverado can't haul rock. However, Ram gets out thumbs up for yet another creative ad.
