Rivera Primo shows their new action HD camera, Primo HD Xtreme, claiming this is going to be a GoPro killer. With Garmin having recently joined the action camera game, it looks like riders and lovers of other high-adrenaline sports are going to enjoy testing and choosing.
While HD standards are common sense in the business, the Primo HD Xtreme camera also comes with several enhancement and a plethora of accessories included in the package. On the tech side we can see 10x digital zoom, a laser pointer and a wireless remote as the features GoPro lacks completely.

The extras list carries is even more extensive, with the Primo HD Xtreme boasting on the external LCD screen, an extra battery, a 16GB microSD card, handlebar post mount and so on. For a more extensive comparison, please check the chart after the jump.

Other cool features include 180 -degree rollover technology to make sure you're recording an image which is always right side up, 3 different camera viewing angles (170, 120 and 90 degrees) all done via the included LCD monitor and many more.

The Primo HD Xtreme retails for an unbelievable $349.95 (€258.75), a hefty $130 (€96) lower than what a somewhat similar GoPro package comes for. Now it's up to the fans of extreme sports to put it to the test and decide who's better.
