There aren't many ways in which you can improve the soundtrack of a Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG, but fitting it with an exhaust system that provides the best of two extremely different worlds is certainly one of them.
The story behind the following C 63 AMG's exhaust starts somewhere in New Taipei, Taiwan, where the peeps from Innotech Performance Exhaust (iPE) are based.

For some unapparent reason, iPE exhausts are some of the best types of exhausts if you need to shatter the windows in your neighborhood while revving a car, but the Taiwanese behind them are not entirely insane and have fitted most of their products with electronically-controlled valves.

That is most likely why they are not illegal in just about any civilized country on the planet, especially since with the valves open the bonkers C 63 AMG in the video below apparently hits 171 decibels, which is quite a bit higher than a Boeing 747-200 at take off.

However, with the valves closed, the car seems to purr like an oversized pussy cat and even sounds a bit mellower than a stock C 63 AMG. All of that noise discrepancy is controlled electronically by the driver at the push of a button, with the system also offering an “automatic” mode, in which it detects the engine rpm and accelerator pedal to automatically adjust the valve movements.

With that being said, keep the audio volume lower until your ears are accustomed to the horrific and unholy – in a good way – sounds that this C 63 AMG makes. Enjoy!
