Tackling the Nurburgring on your own is difficult enough, but nothing compares to a racing encounter that takes place on the Green Hell. The configuration of the track, along with the velocity levels delivered by racecars mean that such an adventure can easily bring trouble and we're here to bring you an example of that.
The shenanigan we're referring to took places during the VLN endurance race held yesterday, with this involving a BMW and a Porsche.

Sure, the 991.1 GT3 Cup and the E90 325i belong to different classes, but the obviously share the circuit. And their encounter, which is portrayed in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, was anything but peaceful.

We can see the Zuffenhausen machine passing the Bimmer on the inside of a difficult corner. This sends the sedan on a wide path, causing it to slide.

And while the swift maneuver of the racing driver behind the wheel of the E90 made things look easy, this stunt could've easily led to a serious crash.

Fortunately, the trouble was limited to a bit of waster rubber and perhaps a drycleaning bill - we can see the BMW racer regaining control quickly, with everybody moving on.

Now, you should know that the Nurburgring also held a public session yesterday. And the Touristenfahrten (Tourist Days) moment wasn't without its white-knuckle stunts, as we discussed earlier today.

We're referring to a spin that took place in the Brunnchen 2 corner, one of the most troublesome on the Nordschleife. However, the problem was caused by the driver of the car in question.

To be more precise, the one behind the wheel of the BMW 2 Series Coupe attempted to drift, only to end up facing the cars behind him. Fortunately, the driver managed to turn the car around in time, so the problems stopped there.
