You know what they said a few month ago about the Porsche 918 being the slowest of the new hybrid supercars? People really believed it would the an everyday car, even though the 4.6-liter engine used by the car is basically a reliable racing engine.
Today, Porsche made an announcement that was so amazing, we had to read it a couple of times before bringing it to you. According to them, the 918 Spyder laps the Nurburgring in 6 minutes and 57 seconds.

Surely, somebody at Ferrari or McLaren will say have something to say about the tires they used or something like that, but it really doesn't matter because this hybrid is one of the fastest cars in the world.

We'll have more about the production 918 Spyder shortly, since this is a can't miss debut for Frankfurt.
