Yes, it’s been that long. Ten years ago, at the Shanghai Auto Show, Porsche was showing its first significant expansion in years outside the 911 range, the Panamera. Now, the carmaker is honoring the success of the nameplate through a special edition model.
As with any special cars, this particular Panamera 10 Years Edition brings little design changes, but a host of extra equipment that would otherwise have been available for an additional cost.

On the outside, the two main elements giving the car away are the 21-inch Panamera Sport Design wheels in satin-gloss White Gold Metallic and the “Panamera10” logo on the front doors, in the same color. These two elements are specific to this model only.

Inside, once passed the soft-close doors, one is greeted by heated 14-way comfort seats and an interior look enhanced by the black leather fitted here and there. Other extras are the panoramic roof, and the BOSE sound system.

Anniversary logos are to be found inside as well, on the front passenger trim panel, and door entry guards.

For safety purposes, Porsche added to this version as standard lane change assist, lane-keeping assist with traffic sign recognition, and park assist with reversing camera.

The 10 Years Edition is only available for two of the Panamera models in the range, namely the Panamera 4 and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, and their corresponding Sport Turismo derivatives. The cars can already be ordered in Germany, but Porsche said nothing about other markets.

Both Panamera models are powered by the same engine, a 2.9-liter biturbo. In  the 4, it develops 300 ps, and in the hybrid that output increases with the addition of the 136 ps coming from the electric motor.

For the hybrid variant of the Panamera, the 10 Years Edition adds a 7.2 kW onboard charger instead of the usual 3.6 kW one.

More details about the Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition can be found in the document below.
