Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Matches BMW M5 Competition in Track Test

Well, the answer to the question above is simple - we've brought along a track test that shows the 680 horsepower long-roof Porsche being put through its paces.

The throttle-obsessed aficionados over at Motorsport Magazine have recently gotten their hands on the gas-electric Zuffenhausen machine, deciding to throw the thing at the Magny-Cours circuit (the Club layout of the track was used).

Well, for one thing, the Porcha managed to tie machines like the 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S and the Competition incarnation of the F90 BMW M5 (the current generation).

Then again, lap times are one thing and the driving experience is another thing.
