When Porsche Exclusive, the people that like to dress every piece of plastic inside your Porsche in leather, raise the bar and build a special edition, you’d better pay attention. This is exactly what happened with the Panamera Exclusive, a limited edition that’s set to bow at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The starting point was the best-gifted Panamera you can get, namely the Turbo S executive. While the first part of the designation means the twin-turbo V8 under the hood delivers 570 hp, the latter brings 150 mm (inches) of extra wheelbase.
Only 100 units of the Panamera Exclusive Series will be built, with the vehicle being covered in a two-tone color scheme that sees Deep Black Metallic being used below the door handle level, while Chestnut Brown Metallic “runs in the background along the lines of the car to the rear”. The first hue was also used for the front air intakes and the 20-inch Sport Classic wheels. Each of the cars is hand painted.
Black leather aficionados have also been taken care of, as this was the color used for the upper door trim (Nappa leather). The contrast is taken care of by the Chestnut Brown stitching. When it comes to triming, the front features Walnut Burl Wood, while at the back we have Deep Black Piano Lacquer.
The Panamera Exclusive Series is more than a collection of top-class features, as it will also mark the world premiere of the carmaker’s Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus. Borrowing its designation from the Sport Plus driving mode, the system includes two 10.2-inch touchscreen displays, with built-in cameras and a DVD player. As you can imagine, the Burmester infotainment system is present.
In case you want to identify your Panamera Exclusive, you can use the tag inside the car, while the hand-made badges placed after the front air intakes certify the Porsche Exclusive build.
Porsche has always been known for the endless financial story brought by its optional extras, so we didn’t expect the Panamera Exclusive Series to be too affordable. And it isn’t. At EUR249,877 (19% VAT included), this is only slightly below a well-gifted Bentley Flying Spur V8. Then again, the two are entirely different creatures.
