For those who really want to see what any of the current crop of Porsche cars are actually like on a track, the premium German manufacturer is now offering the chance for owners and prospective owners to be driven around their private test track in Leipzig, all from just €98.
It is called the Co-Pilot Program, and the entry price allows you to step into the passenger’s seat of a Porsche Cayenne, which will be driven hard around the aforementioned track. Pay a little bit extra, and €125 gets you a ride in the Panamera, while a ride in the all-new 911 is €155.
Interestingly, it is not just track-based, as they also offer an additional alternative - being taken off-road, in the Cayenne, to show owners just how capable it is in the rough stuff.
We don`t really know what Porsche is trying to achieve with this program, but it is an interesting proposal for those who simply don`t have the opportunity to do anything like this on their own, so in that respect the Germans deserve some credit.
