Porsche Models Are Tough, Report Says

The latest test conducted by Autobild TÜV Report in Germany showed us once again that the German sport car manufacturer Porsche has a good long-term quality or in other words, their vehicles are tough as hell. TÜV provided a list of the most frequent defects on some eight million cars that they tested and examined in 2008 motoring tests prescribed by the law.

According to the report made by Autobild TÜV, two models produced by the German manufacturer, the Porsche 911 and the Porsche Boxster, have shown the smallest number of defects in all age of categories. While average defect rate increases by A LOT from one year to another to a double -digit percentage it would seem that Porsche models don't play by the same rules as the cars' consistency remains stable at a low level.

With the help of this test, the German producer Porsche has proved once again that it builds proper and reliable sports cars. Last year, the 911 ranked number 1 in two age categories and strengthened Porsche's position in the industry.

Porsche said that the results come as a consequence of their product and development philosophy that has a focus on evolution instead of revolution. Well, we should all go out and buy ourselves some Porsches because they're reliable machines, but about the gas bill?
