Porsche Mancan URSA by TopCar Gets Cherry Red Paint and ADV.1 Wheels

Try as it might to pretend that it's a sportscar for the entire family, the Porsche guys can't fool us into thinking the Macan is anything but a small SUV. However, we wouldn't mind owning one that looks as sexy as this monster, which just left the customization shop of Russian specialists TopCar.

It's not the first Macan URSA we've seen, but things have changed a little from the chromatic point of view. The golden paint of its last incarnation gave way to sportier candy apple red, which plays with the sun and contrasts against the black of the carbon fiber bits.

Only a couple of days ago, we showed you a 2015 Cayenne with TopCar's Vantage kit. Even though that one was painted a different color, the family resemblance is uncanny. All the juicy bits that have been added make the Macan wider and angrier.

Starting at the front, we notice a new front bumper that features carbon grille inserts, extra LED lights and a chin spoiler. But the most interesting bits are o the side: fender flares that have to work around the features of the car.

For example, the clamshell hood is so huge it nearly touches the wheels. That's why the wheel arch extensions have to cover it as well. At the back, the passenger doors are the real problem, as they too need to be widened to complete the look.

They really went crazy around the back, imitating the luxury WRC racer look of the GLA 45 AMG. There's a huge carbon fiber wing at the top of the boot, followed by another one touching the headlights. Down below, a carbon fiber diffuser stretches over the entire width of the vehicle.

The only thing that's truly missing here is an engine remap, but the customer did order a new Innotech Performance Exhaust system (€3,883) and some sexy 22-inch alloy wheels from ADV1. How much will one of these cost? TopCar's website rates the basic kit at €13,480, but there's also a version with carbon fiber parts available for €17,080.
