Forget the BMW M235i or the Chevy Camaro ZL1! If you're looking for the performance bargain of the century, it's got to be Porsche's new Macan SUV. It offers the sort of driving experience you expect from a Porsche and takes you into the super-premium territory of design, quality features and personalization options. In short, the Macan defines being cool, even more so when you're greeted by a custom project like this one.
Vossen Wheels Switzerland is responsible for this awesome creation, which takes the V6-powered SUV to the next level with a set of CV3 custom wheels and lowered suspension. We admit this look isn't for everybody, but it gets you noticed.
Because all-wheel drive cars tend to rely on all their corners to put power down, all four wheels on this car are the same size: 10.5x22-inch, rather large for a car this size. The lightweight five-spoked design allows for easy viewing of the braking system and part of the suspension. Because this Macan's black paint is only broken up by the red taillights, choosing colors for the wheels was an easy task for Vossen: black spokes with red on the inside of the rim to make them stand out.
From our understanding, the work was carried out by a company called Reifen Peter and the Macan has a nonidentical twin brother in the form of an SQ5, which you might be able to spot in the gallery below.
