Once the Porsche Macan was set free on the market, it was inevitable that we would face its first crash and here we are, talking about it. The unfortunate event took place on Friday, in Poland and was a serious one.
The accident happened in Radomiers, where the Macan appears to have entered a head-on collision with, ironically, an Audi - we'll remind you the Macan shares its platform with the Audi Q5. However, we are talking about a B7-generation A4 Avant here. The impact was a severe one, since it caused the Porsche to flip over. Still, the roof of the Porsche seems to have withstood the crash well, as it appears to have kept its shape.
The Macan ended up going off the road, where it also hit a tree. The most affected area of the car is the front, especially on the driver’s side.
According to the local media, the Macan was driven by a 53 year-old, who was traveling with a 63 year-old passenger. As for the Audi, this was driven by a 19 year-old who was alone in the car.
Unfortunately, all three men had to be transported to the hospital. Nonetheless, the severity of their injuries remains unknown. The same can be said about the circumstances that led to the accident.
