Porsche Macan GTS Coupe Rendering
We’ve recently had a go in the Porsche Macan and we were rather thrilled to find an SUV that doesn’t feel like one. The Macan plays the sporty game well. We’ll publish the review soon but we don’t want to keep you waiting, so we are bringing you a pair of renderings showing how the Macan would look like as a GTS... coupe.
The recent reports about a Porsche Cayenne coupe seemed to have sparked quite a lot of interest, so the sleeker Macan should fit this template even better. In fact, the idea isn’t all that far from what we’ve seen in the past. For instance, Land Rover has given us three-door SUVs more than once. We’ll just mention Land Rovers of the past or the contemporary Evoque.

The Macan’s smooth lines could be taken even further with a three-door version and if there’s anybody who knows how to do engineering magic so that everything works out, Porsche is the right name.

As for the GTS moniker, which doesn’t necessarily have to be included in the same package with the coupe body, this isn’t currently on the Macan agenda. So far, we've only seen what we believe to be Porsche Macan GTS spyshots. As you know, for the moment the Macan is offered in three flavors: Diesel, S and Turbo. There’s also an upcoming four-cylinder petrol, but we’re not interested in that for now.

The GTS would be slotted in between the Macan S and the Macan Turbo. We are expecting it to deliver at least 360 hp from its twin-turbo V6. The suspension would be lowered, while the overall setup of the car would be tweaked for even more prompt response. Ann the usual juicy exhaust voice for the GTS and the recipe is complete.
