Porsche has another reason to celebrate today as their Plant in Leipzig has finally opened its doors. We’re talking about a seriously upgraded plant that now includes a body shop as well as an ultra-modern paint shop.
Yes, it appears that Porsche has drastically expanded the plant adding to its capacity, 50,000 plus annually and also created new jobs. Thus, around 1,500 people will be able to find work there, at a plant that meets stringent environment criteria.

Matthias Müller, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG said that he is convinced that this improved plant will be a success and their new models, the Macan S and Macan Turbo will come to be loved by all, especially sports car enthusiasts.

Moreover, those that are interested in the said vehicles should know they will be available in the U.S this summer. So, it won’t be too long until you’ll be able to test the Macan S’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and the 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 one that can be found in the Macan Turbo.
