Porsche Exclusive is once again doing what they do best. That is adding expensive things to an already expensive car, all for satisfying the customer’s needs. This time, it’s a new rear seat entertainment system.
It looks like Porsche just realized they’re falling one step behind Mercedes-Benz and their S-Class in terms of passenger entertainment but have no fear, Porsche Exclusive is here with a new system that will fill passengers on the rear seat with joy and (slightly) empty some bank accounts.
Anyway, here’s the deal: Porsche Exclusive can install a rear seat entertainment system in the Macan, Cayenne and Panamera for a price tag of 3,082 euro ($3,307) in Germany. In exchange for this amount of money, clients get dual 10.1-inch color touchscreen displays attached to the front seat backrest.
The system also comes with a DVD player, SD memory card slot, two USB ports and a HDMI port. Video calls can be received and initiated thanks to a built-in camera but we doubt you can take selfies for that matter.
You can also watch videos on both screens via a WiFi connection while sound is being delivered through Bluetooth to a couple of wireless headphones. In case you want lots of space for you hip-hop albums that will get the groove on while driving, Porsche Exclusive is more than happy to sell the Plus version for 3,439 euro ($3,690) which offers an internal 32GB of flash drive storage. Happy now?
You shouldn’t be, because the bag of goodies gets deeper. Porsche Exclusive is offering a new optional sports exhaust system for 2,403 euro ($2,577), but only for the Macan S Diesel. No add-ons for the Panamera, but the Cayenne SUV can get a discrete visual upgrade consisting of Sport Classic 21-inch alloy wheels painted in either GT Silver Metallic, Platinum Silk Gloss and High Gloss Black.
