The Porsche Design specialists used a waterproof membrane, laminated from the inside to the premium calfskin, making the the classic jacket not only waterproof, but also breathable and wind-proof.
“The new Porsche Design men’s collection contains our entire know-how, which we have gained in the past,” said Dr. Jurgen Geßler, executive director of the Porsche Design Group.
“These products combine our company’s success factors: a classic and enduring line, as well as high innovative power. For the first time the design has been completely created at our studio in Zell am See – it does not follow any trend, but sets its own accents.”
As with the limited-edition jacket, the other leather jackets in the collection also have elaborate design elements such as the characteristic decorative stitching, and other practical details including eyelets for MP3 cables or inside pockets with zippers.
The materials used in this new Fashion Collection were of premium quality, which can be seen in the parka made of nylon, polo shirts made of pure cotton or the pullover of 100 percent merino wool.
Other products included in Porsche Design’s portfolio include classic men’s accessories, a sport and fashion collection, as well as electronic products and a men’s fragrance line. The men’s collection will be available exclusively in its own stores, in franchise stores and shop-in-shops. No pricing announced yet, but we will keep you posted.
